SETELIA holds an accreditation for its laboratory:
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation is based on internationally recognized standards for the competence of calibration and testing laboratories. SETELIA obtained this accreditation to maintain its status as RTO (Recognized Test Organization) within the GCF (Global Certification Forum).
The Global Certification Forum is a consortium of Terminal Builder, Mobile Operator and Test House. Its purpose is to ensure interoperability between mobile terminals, network operators and equipment manufacturers.
GCF tests are divided into three categories:
2G/3G/4G Conformance TESTS
Ensure the compliance of the terminal with the standards.
FIELD TRIAL 2G/3G/4G TESTS
Enable mobile and static terminal compatiblity with at least mobile GCF members.
SERVICE TESTS (IOP)
Ensure the compatibility of a terminal with the mobile services (NFC, OMA MMS, Browsing Streaming, etc.) at least mobile operators members GCF.
The requirements for ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 apply to our GCF RTO activity but also to all associated processes. SETELIA is, however, not concerned by the sections of the standard concerning sampling, calibration and measurement uncertainty activities.
